01 / OUR STORY

Home is more
than a place.

It’s the people who welcome you.
The traditions you carry.
The future you build together.

Guineans and Friends in Pittsburgh (GFIP) began as a community association. Our next chapter brings that spirit of solidarity into a lasting organization, with a mission centered on charitable support, education and cultural exchange.

Our roots are Guinean. Our welcome is open. We serve the African diaspora and the wider Pittsburgh community, with participation that reaches beyond membership.

02 / OUR FOCUS

Care that connects us.

Our planned areas of work turn shared values into practical support.

Programs are being developed. Services, eligibility details and application channels will be announced when available; this website does not accept assistance requests.

    A SHARED COMMITMENT

    Support starts
    with dignity.

Our proposed approach to assistance is based on need, not membership. We are building a community where people can be welcomed, heard and treated with respect.
